RE: Hello
Welcome. For webcam, you need some sockets open, which no host provides will allow. You need a VPS i think. If you are looking to activate it "the other way", then firewall will block it and i mean both pc and server firewall. Its very much resource inversive too.

RE: Hello
Thanks m8 but yeah most host's dont but it wont be a totally live feed it will be based off like webcamxp or something that uploads a still image ever 10-30-60 seconds to the site, untill I can find a way to deal with the firewall on client and server side. which isnt too hard, my buddy is working on a program rightnow that we are going to beta test that is like stickam service, which they dont host there own servers.

RE: Hello
I got a script which has both php and javascript cam feed, with flash as UI but it was blocked by my firewall as a attack, and even after i allowed it, the server ban me cause it took it as a open attack! You need a software on windows .net framework, and asp (windows hosting) with open posts, which you wont get anywhere, for free or paid. So i dont think you can connect to webcam to take pictures... Best of luck with it though.

RE: Hello
Welcome to Meekhost Cory
Like Somik says there are not a lot of hosts that allow the use of streaming Webcam images. But there may be away to use Meekhosts video conversion tools to your advantage Smile

RE: Hello
I think Meek will be able to tell you if you can do it or not. As far as i know, you need a custom open port which brings in security issues...
